Have you tried this?
1: Remove the battery from the notebook.
2: Press and hold the following keys: "Fn," "B" and "Q."
3: Connect the AC adapter to the notebook while pressing and holding the keys in Step 2.
4: Wait for a few seconds.
5: Release keys "Fn," "B" and "Q."
6: It takes few seconds then you will observe that all panel LEDs are "OFF."
7: Press the power button to boot up the notebook. If all panel LEDs are still "ON" you may need to press and hold the power button several times.
8: Insert the battery to the notebook.
9: Flash the notebook with the latest BIOS version.
